Castle Adventure

Kevin Bales' 1984 DOS classic, rebuilt for the browser. All 83 rooms of the original castle, with its puzzles, monsters, treasure and text intact, redrawn as Amiga-era pixel art with torchlight, water and magic that color-cycle the way DeluxePaint used to.

Nothing is rebalanced and nothing is added. The only modern touches are a button bar that shows what you can do right now, so there is no command guessing, and a d-pad for touch screens.
